Painting

A very traditional and elegant version of a flower still life. The painting is painted in an impressionistic style. The flowers have a variety of pink, white, red and purple colours and are arranged in asymmetric order.  The background exists out of darker This painting ‘Flowers in vases’ signed on the lower right. The painting comes without a frame.

 

Painter

Victor Abeloos was a Belgium art painter. He started his career as a student at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussel. He painted portraits, still lives, animals, landscapes, sea landscapes, nudes, mythology and flowers. His paintings were exhibited regularly in various exhibitions and museums in Belgium, France and England. Victor Abeloos is included in many arts literature and references, as well as in the National Art History Documentation Center (RKD) in The Hague, Netherlands.
